Hello Blog World!
I don’t know how you became interested in stamping but I can assure you that I was never interested in rubber stamps until 3 years ago.
As a self proclaimed “craft maniac” I have sold swags, sewn buttons on co-workers blouses in the bathroom, made bracelets and necklaces with beads and the list goes on and on and on. So when a friend told me about scrapbooking you can only imagine the eagerness I had to learn a new craft!
I quickly got bored with scrapbooking and sat idle for awhile. But don’t think that stopped me from cruising the aisles of Michael’s, Joann’s and Hobby Lobby. I had seen rubber stamps in the stores and thought to myself, “That looks so hard and like a lot of work.” Mind you, I didn’t even know what you really did with rubber stamps!
Imagine my surprise when a co-worker came in with cards she had made using rubber stamps. I was thrilled to death and was begging her to take me to the next class she was going to attend.
When the night of the class arrived I was a little hesitant because I didn’t want to do anything hard. When I sat down at the table it was like I was at home. The rubber stamps were so much fun and I couldn’t believe I had refused to learn about them sooner!
When I received my first order I quickly sat down to make my very first card on my own.
Remember: Every stamper has a starting point. And here is mine:

Please share your experiences on how you became a rubber stamper or if you just want to say “hi” – I would love to hear from you.
